If you’re like me, you’ve been caught by today’s financial troubles.  I’m going to share a way out of that financial rut.

Before we get to that, there is a question you want to answer for yourself. 

Do you track what and where your money goes out and how? No? Then start by any means available to you. Such as;

A piece of paper to write on or enter your figures in a computer program (such as Quickbooks™ or another software program).  There’s also MS Office Excel or Google Sheets. 

It’s time to bite down hard and get out paper and pencil or utilize any of the programs listed above to get a picture of where you’re hard-earned money is going. You know what you bring in each month from your job.  It won’t be fun but you have to start right now. Don’t leave anything out, like the coffee you get while getting to work or the treat you deserve and buy.  Get detailed.
